Process

First, work together to figure out who will be:

The fun time travel agents (2 students)

The fun time coordinators (2 students)

Next, split into 2 groups (2 fun time travel agents and 2 fun time coordinators).

The travel agents will research flights from Australia to New York. Travel Agents will need to find at least *2* flight options and *1* mode of transportation from activity to activity (whether it be rent-a-car, bus or train). Use the links below to find a flight. You can also use some of these sites to research train and bus schedules and fare. Rent-a-car information is provided at flight websites (Expedia and Travelocity).

The fun time coordinators will visit several websites and decide what 'fun time' spots would be best for our pen pal to see while in New York. You will need at least 5 sites and no more than 7. One site from each of the 4 categories is minimum as well. Use the graph below for links to sites.

**REMEMBER to DISCUSS your plans with each other as a group. COORDINATORS need to make sure that the TRAVEL AGENTS have our guests here at a time when they can get to certain fun time spots and COORDINATORS need to make sure they don't plan any fun time activities at a time when our guests will be just arriving or just leaving. **

**TOGETHER your group will have to create your brochure. You will need to decide who will take the controls on Publisher and who will be advisors. In other words, one group member will be typing and adding images while others suggest ideas. You must have a TITLE for your brochure, a time schedule, and images to make it visually appealing. This will be your conclusion**
