Shooting Stars

What you'll need…..

*Scissors *Construction paper *1 large clean can or container with lid *Tempera paint *1 small disposable container *1 table tennis ball or marble *1 disposable spoon *Newspaper or brown craft paper* Foil and/or star shaped stickers *White crafts glue

1. Cut a piece of construction paper to fit inside the can. Put the paper inside the can so it stands up along the side (see photo). Pour a little paint into the small container.

2. Put the table tennis ball into the paint. Use the spoon to roll it around until it is covered with paint (see photo). Use the spoon to put the ball in the can. Put the lid tightly on the can.

3. Shake the can several times or roll it around on a table or the floor. Take the lid off the can. Carefully take the paper out of the can and lay it on newspaper. Let it dry completely. Cut stars out of foil. Glue them onto the paper. If you like, put star-shaped stickers on the paper, too.
