John, the four morphing movies above are .swf files inserted into a .htm page The .swf files that are on this page have a 7 second delay (frozen still) before and after the morphing. This was intended to be inserted at various segments of my iMovie. whose audio track cross-fades the music of The Everly Brothers with the music of Simon and Garfunkel. Instead I used cross fading stills in iMovie to try to accomplish a similar effect - but not as "neat." I am not able to import either .swf files or .api files into my iMovie application. I will continue trying to solve this but I wanted to submit to you what I have done so far. These .swf morphing movies average 1.8 mb. These were the smallest files that could be rendered. The first .avi movie I tried to render was 213mb. My morphing program does not do "compressed AVI," only "uncompressed AVI." So I stopped rendering .AVI files. I also rendered animated .gif's. These averaged about 8mb each. But I am unable to get these .gif files to animate in a htm (or html) page. QuickTime is the obvious application to use for the .mov file. The .mov file size is less than 200k. You can link to my movie here. My "John Collins Assignments" index page has links to all of the individual .swf files in full size |
