Hi all,
Here's what I know of the capture crew. Jerry Garfunkel has offered to coordinate this. He'll be in touch with you soon. John Collins has also offered to coordinate, too. John will focus on the video but also work with Jerry looking at the whole picture of capturing the day.
Ellen and Corinne will be in the Lecture Hall compiling and preparing for the Closing with the images and sounds collected/created.
Faye Lourenso will be at the Welcome station to preview and modify each item that needs work as it comes in. She can send/carry the images to Ellen and Corinne.
John Collins and his one or more students from Mineola will take video. I think they should be the only ones taking video as the video will not be ready for the Closing and we need to capture everything for the day in the Closing.
Dave VanEsselstyn and Brian Hoffmann will have the audio/sound for Corinne and Ellen's show.
North Babylon (Room 218 in Session 3 - 11:55-12:25) will capture images from upstairs Hillwood in Session 3.
Michele Dornisch (Visualizing Poetry), Carolyn Strauch/Stephanie Castiglia (Daniel's Touch), Justine Weber (1st grade Peace Poems with KidPix) may have materials for the Closing. Dennis Cleasby may have images from his Nature Walk in Sessions 1 and 2.
Probably not yet: Guy's VR of the Blue Guy with flags, Andrea's flower presses.
Capture crew:
It would be wonderful for the flow of the day if all on the capture crew were organized to help in two ways:
There are about 10 other participants who would gladly take pictures, too. They will help with timing and movement mostly but be on call if you need for them to capture. When I write to them tomorrow, I'll include the possibility that you'll ask them to "take pictures" as well.
By tomorrow, we should have the final versions of the four reports from the database (by room, by presenter, by subgroup, by time), the maps, and the descriptions of the individual presentations. I'll send those to you.
Thank you so much!
We look forward to Wednesday with you! Plan well and enjoy this experience!
