After saying all of that, I suspect that Logitech [and most other webcam manufacturers) would love to have their product featured on the "home page" of this (or any legitimate) educational web site, especially if there was a link to their own (Logitech, et al.) site. They might even be willing to pay for that "privilege" in the form of some donated equipment to a CW Post video project. Are there any LIU administrative rules and procedures that must be followed if an "informal grant" is requested and is subsequently made. It seems to be similar to the situation of the gift that was made to CW Post by Barbara (?) from Dell Computers. (Forgive me for not remembering her last name.) Dell donated a Dell Pocket PC as a "drawing prize" for Elliot Soloway's post-presentation this week. (And as you probably know, I won the prize!) .
Can Karen, in Westbury, help in getting "assistance" (equipment, money, services, etc.) for projects like the Senior Residential Technology Training program I've talked about with Bette and others.
